Ms. Creamer’s 6th grade students chose novels to read and discuss with book clubs. Then clubs collaborated to create a poster that displayed their knowledge and opinions of the book in creative ways. Choices for sections of the poster included the theme, character relationships and changes, and flashbacks. Students were also encouraged to include questions they still wondered about the book and connections they made between their book club book and other stories they know. Students loved the experiences they got to share with their fellow book club members.
